Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of apps operated by Party Games USA ("we", "us"), a brand of BLKQ LLC. By installing or using any of our apps — including LockIn — you agree to these terms.
1. Eligibility
Our apps are intended for users 13 years of age or older. The Adults Only category pack is restricted to users 21 years of age or older and is protected by an in-app age gate you must pass before use. If you are under 13, do not use the app. If you are between 13 and 21, do not attempt to unlock the Adults Only pack.
2. Use at your own risk
Our apps are live multiplayer party games. Answers and uploaded photos from other players are user-generated content and may be crude, unexpected, or offensive. We do not pre-moderate user content. If you see something inappropriate, use the in-app report button; see section 6.
3. Accounts
Our apps use anonymous Firebase Authentication by default. You are responsible for any activity on your device. Do not share your device with someone who does not agree to these terms.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the app
- Automate play, spoof answers, or run bots
- Use the app to harass, dox, threaten, or impersonate another person
- Upload a photo depicting another person without their consent, or any photo that is illegal, sexually explicit, involves a minor, or violates platform policies
- Attempt to access the accounts, rooms, or data of other players without their invitation
- Probe, scan, or attempt to breach our servers or rate limits
Violations may result in loss of room access, entitlements, or removal from the app without refund.
5. In-app purchases
Our apps offer:
- Remove Ads — a one-time, non-consumable purchase that removes interstitial ads
- Category Packs — one-time, non-consumable content unlocks
Purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). All IAPs are non-refundable except as required by the respective platform's refund policy or by applicable law. Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple or Google — we cannot issue refunds.
Entitlements are tied to your Apple ID or Google account, not to a specific device. Use Restore Purchases after reinstalling or switching devices within the same store.
6. Moderation and reported content
We may, at our discretion and without notice, remove user-generated answers or photos, mute players, wipe rooms, or disable category content we determine to be illegal, abusive, or in violation of platform policies. Uploaded photos that receive three or more reports in a room are automatically hidden pending review. We may retain reports submitted via the in-app flow for up to 12 months to investigate patterns of abuse.
7. Intellectual property
Our apps, their design, their category packs, and their code are owned by BLKQ LLC (operating as Party Games USA) and licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use via the applicable app store. No rights are granted beyond that license.
8. Disclaimers
The apps are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the apps will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BLKQ LLC (Party Games USA), its members, and its contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the apps. Our aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from any app is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim or (b) USD $20.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of these terms will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. If we make material changes we will update the date at the top and surface a notice in-app on next launch. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
